How much can I claim?

Damage or disease to your heart requiring transplant and/or continued care can entitle you to up to £100,000. For serious heart injury, reducing life expectancy, you can receive up to £75,000.
The loss of one lung can get you up to £75,000 also, as well as lung cancer, asbestosis or any other life threatening diseases. £30,000 compensation can be received for significant permanent damage to both lungs, and up to £15,000 can be received for permanent, but minor damage to one or both lungs. Temporary lung damage and/or breathing problems can entitle you to up to £7,000 compensation.
The loss or loss of functional use of both kidneys can get you up to £100,000 compensation, with the loss or loss of functional use of just one kidney getting you around £25,000.
For total loss or loss of use of bowels, you can receive up to £100,000, partial and permanent loss of or loss of use of bowels can get you up to £50,000, permanent disabling stomach pain can get you up to £35,000, and permanent serious stomach problems, or temporary loss of use of bowels can get you up to £15,000.
You can receive up to £75,000 for the total loss of, or loss of use of your bladder, £45,000 for serious bladder problems, and up to £15,000 for temporary bladder problems.
The loss of, or loss of the function of sexual organs can entitle you to receive anything from £15,000 – £125,000, depending on the scars, future functions, age, and the ability to have children in the future.
For hernias leading to permanent disability, you can receive up to £17,500, and up to £10,000 for hernias leading to temporary disability.
