Wrist injury

A wrist injury affects the joint in the wrist and can have lasting effects on movement and flexibility, especially as joints are constantly under pressure and recovery times from injuries to the joints are often longer than those for injuries to other parts of the body. Sprains, Dislocationsand Fractures are all common injuries that can occur after a Slip, Trip or Fall, when you may have been trying to break your fall by putting your arms out in front of you. This puts extra pressure on the joints in the arms, and this is when the damage is done.

Other common wrist injuries include tendonitis and carpal tunnel syndrome. Both of these injuries can develop as a result of being involved in an accident such as a Road Traffic Accident or any accident that involves sudden violent movements that strain the tendons and ligaments in the joints.
