Facial injuries can include Fractures to facial bone (including a broken nose or jaw), Bruising, Lacerations and sometimes the loss or damge to teeth. It is not uncommon for serious fractures to the jaw or frontal bones to require surgery and to leave longer term symptoms. Often facial bone fracture cases will involve other injuries, such as scarring, Concussion or another type of Head Injury.
Facial scarring cases can be as they can range from small, well healed scars that are of little or no cosmetic significance, to very obvious scarring that can cause the victim serious anxiety. Facial scars can often be improved by scar revision plastic surgery, it is possible to claim the cost of such private procedures as damages.
